What is Asthma and What Happens Sign and Symptoms and Cure

What is asthma
Asthma is a disease of the airways that causes abnormal narrowing of the breathing tubes and restricts the passage of air

What happens in Asthma?
Our lungs consist of breathing tubes called bronchi that carry air to the lungs. These bronchi divide and subdivide until they become tiny and end in small sacs called alveoli. The transfer of oxygen from the air to the blood and carbon dioxide from the blood back to the air takes place in the alveoli. The airways are normally clear and patent, the air flow through them easily. In asthmatics a condition of severe attack of asthma, the bronchi are swollen and narrowed which results in difficulty of passage of air through them.In addition the bronchi also produce significantly more mucus that causes further obstruction

What are the symptoms of Asthma?

Asthama Tips How To Cure

There are three levels of breathing: 1. In the upper chest / throat area, 2. In the area of the ribs, and 3. For the tummy area. In the meantime, experiment with three levels. The chest, throat, breathing is shallow, requiring little movement of the body. Thoracic breathing is deeper and causes the chest to expand and contract. When breathing in the area of abdomen, chest and breathing remains neutral goes to the bottom of the lungs – the waist and abdomen expand and contract with each breath. Imagine breathing through a pipe going down into the abdomen, bypassing completely the chest. Place one hand on the abdomen and the other in his ribcage. Breathe deeply. You know what is right when no movement is detected in the ribs and expands the stomach. Practice breathing and use it upside down during an attack.

Children who were fed cow’s milk in infants are more prone to asthma. If breastfeeding is not an option, it is important to choose a formula not based on cow’s milk. Soy milk or goat’s milk are better choices. Whether breastfed or not, children with asthma often have allergies to dairy products, sugar and wheat. If handled without problems, this need not be too big a problem in later life.

Gradually introduce more vegetables (children love raw carrots cut in Matchstick Men), using honey instead of sugar and oats used in place of wheat, for example, oat bran muffins, etc.

If the child yo-yos between the skin and asthma worse, both problems should improve. Although asthma most often begins in childhood, can develop at any stage of life. In asthmatics older, beware of developing osteoarthritis.

Common Signs and Symptoms of Asthma in Children

Asthma is the most common cause of absenteeism from chronic illness, accounting for about 14 million missed school days. They claim that childhood asthma has been extended and is now the most common chronic disease in children.

If you have children, it is important to know the symptoms and signs of an asthmatic condition. Understand that the following symptoms “may” indicate asthma, but could be a symptom of a wide range of bronchial and lung diseases.

The most common signs and symptoms of childhood asthma are very similar to bronchitis and other respiratory infections. Symptoms include:

1. Cough. The need is created by coughing up mucus, which accumulates and needs to be clarified. The mucus is usually caused by some kind of infection or irritation. Coughing is a symptom of childhood and many adult diseases. Note that although the cough is a symptom, the type of cough has a role in understanding the cause. In short, an earthquake or lose type cough is very different than a tight cough or acts of piracy and both types can indicate certain diseases

2. Wheezing. Wheezing is most commonly associated with asthma, however, all children with asthma do not necessarily wheeze. You can identify a type of whistle whistling sound when your child breathes.

3. Chest congestion and tightness.

4. Difficulty breathing

Although these signs and symptoms may indicate childhood asthma, may also point to several common diseases of children. As a parent, you can not expect to understand how various symptoms can interfere or be able to accurately diagnose an illness such as asthma.

Another factor to consider is the frequency. The child often suffers from cough and ongoing or recurrent bouts of respiratory diseases like pneumonia or bronchitis may have childhood asthma.
